Congratulations to fellow Wales Gene Park staff member Dr Kayleigh Dodd for her recent Biochemical Journal Poster Prize!

The Biochemical Journal sponsors a number of prizes for posters presented by young scientists at meetings held internationally. Kayleigh’s winning poster is entitled “Mammalian target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1) primarily drives 5′-cap-dependent translation of Hypoxic Inducible Factor-1 alpha (HIF-1) via co-operative action of 4E-BP1 and S6K1” and can be viewed by following the link below:
