How screening is helping the fight against bowel cancer

Wednesday 2nd December 2015 Hadyn Ellis Building, Cardiff University, 6-7.30pm. The Wales Gene Park, in conjunction with Cancer Research UK, is holding a free public event about bowel cancer – the third most common cancer in Wales with around 2000 people diagnosed each year. Join us to hear experts talk on current research and clinical aspects and find out how the national screening programme is helping to detect bowel cancer in Wales. Learn how bowel cancer can sometimes run in families, and hear a personal account from someone affected by bowel cancer. There will also be an opportunity for questions with our experts.

This event is free of charge but you must register to attend at Eventbrite: http://ow.ly/T9Uni
