Creating a list

Lists can be created via the “New list” web form, which is accessed via the “Create new lists” button:

 

Populate “Name” and “Description” fields as required.

 

Save the “New list” form to open the “Edit list” web form.

We can exit the “Edit list” web form to return to the “Lists” web page using either the navigation bar “List” menu option or the “< Edit list:”.

Note: Genview permits the creation of multiple lists with the same name and description without issues of overwriting. These lists may contain different compliments of transcript IDs.


If we return to the “Lists” web page at this point, we can see our new entry appended to the list table, though this list would be empty, as we have not yet added any items to our list (see below).
